YWLA Returns to Queens Public Library – Central Branch

We are delighted to share some exciting news about our Young Women’s Leadership Academy (YWLA)! In 2018, we launched YWLA at the Teen Center at QPLNYC Central, a space filled with energy and learning. However, the pandemic necessitated a shift to virtual programs for three years.

This past Saturday marked a day of enthusiasm as we finally returned to our beautiful classroom space at QPL. We welcomed cohort 6 for YWLA23 and it was a day of reconnection. Our return to the classroom signifies more than just a physical presence. It’s a return to shared experiences, to the joy of learning together, and to the invaluable interactions that shape our journeys.

Here’s to the continuation of our journey, to empowerment, and leadership, and to the many exciting adventures that await our young women.
