Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation Receives 2024 “GO QUEENS” Grant Award

The Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, Inc. is honored to be one of the recipients of the prestigious 2024 “GO QUEENS” grant, generously sponsored by The Howard Gilman Foundation and administered by Flushing Town Hall.

This award is a grant and a nod to the hard work, dedication, and passion driving our mission. It’s a recognition that what we are doing is making a difference and an encouragement to push even further. The grant will help us enhance and expand our programs, allowing us to offer even more opportunities for our young women to explore their creativity, develop robust leadership skills, and build the confidence needed to carve out their paths in the world.

Last night, our founder, Cloyette Harris-Stoute, and board member, Nicole Jean Remy, attended the Grantee Ceremony at Flushing Town Hall. It was an evening filled with celebration and gratitude for our recognition and all the 2024 grantees doing incredible work in our community. Each grantee’s story and project inspired the evening, reminding us of the vibrant community we’re a part of.

Thank you to Flushing Town Hall for fostering an environment that values creativity and community engagement. Their support empowers organizations like ours to continue working with even greater vigor.

Congratulations to all the 2024 grantees! We’re excited to see how you will use this opportunity to further your amazing work in our communities.

Thank you to everyone who supports and believes in our mission. Here’s to growing stronger, reaching higher, and rocking harder!
