Celebrating 5-Years of Exceptional Service: Dr. Kyomi Gregory-Martin

At the Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation’s recent scholarship luncheon, we celebrated a milestone that fills us with immense pride and gratitude. Dr. Kyomi Gregory Martin who initially joined us as a volunteer with a one-year commitment, has now completed five remarkable years as the program director and instructor for our Young Women’s Leadership Academy. This occasion was not just a celebration of time but a recognition of her unwavering dedication, passion, and significant impact on our organization and the lives of countless young women.

As the program director and instructor, her focus is not just on academic excellence but on building character, resilience, and self-confidence. Under her guidance, the Academy has flourished, becoming a nurturing ground for young women to realize their potential and aspire to greater heights.

Recognizing her five years of exceptional service was not just an honor but a celebration of her remarkable contribution to GGRF. Dr. Gregory embodies the spirit of our organization – a commitment to empowering young women and nurturing future leaders. Her dedication goes beyond her role; it is a testament to her belief in the power of education and leadership to transform lives.

She was presented with a GGRF plaque by YWLA Alum, Tai Timmerman and a beautiful bouquet of flowers by GGRF Board Secretary, Annie Mohan.  We are excited to continue this journey together, shaping a brighter future for our young women.
