GUYANESE GIRLS ROCK SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Guyanese Girls Rock Merit Scholarship is available to 12th Grade participants of the GGRF Young Women's Leadership Academy (YWLA) who have gained acceptance into an accredited college or university. This scholarship is designed to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with pursuing higher education.

Eligibility

Applicants:

Must be a participant of Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, YWLA
Successfully completed the YWLA Leadership course assignments and the final project.
Has a 2.7 GPA and above

Award

Amount: $500 and $1000

Eligible YWLA students should contact the program director regarding the application process.

The Guyanese Girls Rock Technology Award recognizes young women for their interests and aspirations in technology-related fields.

Eligibility

Applicants:

Must be a participant of Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, YWLA
Successfully completed the YWLA Leadership course assignments and the final project.
Must be a Freshman with acceptance to an accredited college pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or an Engineering field.
Has a 3.0 GPA and above
