GGRF SCHOLARSHIPS

1. The Guyanese Girls Rock Merit Scholarship removes some of the financial burdens that are associated with attending college.

Eligibility

Applicants:

Must be a participant of Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, YWLA
Successfully complete the YWLA Leadership Course.
Must be a freshman accepted to an accredited college pursuing an undergraduate degree.
Has a 2.5 GPA and above

Award

Amount:  $1,000

2. The Guyanese Girls Rock Technology Award recognizes young women for their interests and aspirations in technology-related fields.

Eligibility

– Must be a participant of Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, YWLA
– Successfully complete the YWLA Leadership Course.
– Must be a freshman pursuing accepted to an accredited college pursuing an undergraduate degree in a computer science or engineering field.
– Has a 3.o GPA and above

Award

Amount:  $1,000 plus a new laptop computer
